Country And Western Midis

Country and western music is directly descended from the folk songs, ballads, and popular songs of the English, Scottish, and Irish settlers of the U.S. southeastern seaboard.
The American popular music form originated in the Southeast (country music) and the Southwest and West (western music). The two regional styles coalesced in the 1920s when recorded material became available in rural areas, and they were further consolidated after musicians from various sections met and mixed during service in World War II.

The midis on this page have been selected for your listening enjoyment. Select your favorites and add them to your midi collection. They are for your personal enjoyment and not for commercial use. It is essential to have a good sound card.

~Music is well said to be the speech of angels:
in fact, nothing among the utterances allowed to man
is felt to be so divine. It brings us near to the infinite.~
