In Loving Memory

~God's Garden~

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again

He saw that the road was getting rough,
And the hills are hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

On April 18, 2000 God called my beloved husband home. Len became ill early in the morning of February 22nd and was taken by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital at Madison. The majority of his two month hospitalization was spent in the Trauma Life Support Unit. He endured six surgeries which made a recovery impossible. God sent his angels to take him to his Heavenly home on the day of the birthday of his daughter and grandson.

He is missed and remembered by his family,

Jan,

Our time together passed so quickly - in the blink of an eye, the shadow of a smile. Now he is gone and many memories are pressed like a beautiful flower deep within my mind, filling it to overflowing.

Tom, Chris, Cindy, Jon,

Brian, Dale, Kendall, Eric, Jake, Allyssa,

Savanna, Ashley, Lindsey, Rylan.

And all his relatives and friends.

A special thank you to Joseph Ricci III, R.N. for the care he gave all of his patients in the T.L.C. Unit. Your kindness is appreciated.

Featured Music: "You Raise Me Up", Joshua Corey (Selah)

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up: To more than I can be.

Len and His Beloved Sandy
Both gone but never forgotten.

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

~When Tomorrow Starts Without Me~
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for;
So much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized
That this could never be,
For emptyness and memories,
Would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldy things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there, in your heart.
